Who We Are

Our mission focuses on enhancing well-being for all.

POSITIVE RESTORATION is a non-profit organization targeted at rendering mental health counseling services in schools, homes, and the community at large. The organization was instituted in April 2021 by Dr. Maisha Davis, a licensed professional counselor, with the vision of going beyond the basics in Southeast Louisiana to restore lives. This vision was inspired by the advent of COVID-19 and the occurrence of several natural disasters, increasing crime rates, mass shootings, and youth suicide, among many others, which have increased the cases of mental health disorders in the state.

Vision Statement

We aim to build a vibrant community where all individuals can access vital resources and support. We aim to empower vulnerable populations in Southeast Louisiana, creating an environment that promotes resilience, well-being, and the opportunity for everyone to reach their highest potential.
